White Tea was named by its appearance which has the fine silvery-white hairs on the unopened buds of the tea plant.

White tea is one of the major teas in Jia Yow. We usually select to pick Shanlinsi high mountain young tea leaves become our basic. Without rolling and panning, White tea tasted lighter than green teas or traditional black teas in common. Because the production of white tea takes time and labor, especially the withering process is the most critical.

The tea leaves must be spread on the bamboo husk, bamboo plaque,  and wait them for slowly withering  at a suitable temperature and humidity and in the air circulation space. 

By Our tea making master’s experience, they will observe the withering degree and the state of water to simmer the leaves to dry.  The white tea looks bright green and clear and taste smooth with a unique sweet and tea fragrance.

 If you store the White Tea appropriate, the new White Tea tastes sweet and fragrant. Keep it three years later, the taste will become smoother and the aroma tends to be mellower.After seven years, the old white tea tastes mellow and full, the entrance is smoother, and the comfortable dates are rounded out. Incense and medicinal incense.

  For Hot  Brewing :

  1. Put suitable white tea leaves into the teapot. If you prefer the stronger        
     taste, you can put more into it.

  2.Time of brewimg : 

     1st steeping about 60 seconds
 2nd steeping about 45 seconds
 After the 3rd steeping, everytime have to steep 45 seconds
  # These tea leaves can be brewed about 8 times as your favorite
